Most cheaters think they deserve a second chance but when the truth is if they love the one they were with they would not have cheated in the first place.

Well because life is all about second chances isn't it? I mean depending on the circumstances of why the person cheated and if they show remorse, they should get a second chance. Some times it actually helps the relationship. There's always a state of confusion in relationships and the prospect of losing someone either because they cheated actually opens up the cheaters eyes a lot. The other thing to consider is that, majority of the time, both parties to the relationship are at fault. People run to others outside because something they believe is essential in a relationship is lacking or not up to par with the way things used to be or never existed.

not every cheater deserves a second chance. A cheater who feels remorse before caught is the one who deserves a second chance.this cheating is a clear sign of a mistake. Forgive them right away. Don't talk much about it or you will turn them around to be a real cheater.
All other cheaters are never gonna change. They may not cheat when you are around but they will cheat a few days after you have gone somewhere.

I cheated and I'm getting married in a yr to add to the whole mess and it was with my ex whom I was able to close a whole part of my life and start new because I did what I did. I know it may not justify my actions but now I know for a fact that I do not love him and can devote myself compeletly to my fiance.. do I deserve another chance probably not. Cheating is cheating. Do I want another chance definitely. Am I going to tell on myself no. Will I burn in hell probably...

I think it would depend on the circumstances behind the cheating. Say, if you were separated from your husband, tried to work it out but, he goes to jail and you meet someone but have not had sex, is that considered cheating???? Everyone at some point deserves a second chance, but it goes like this, Screw me once, shame on you, screw me twice shame on me, there won't be a third time.....it also would depend on how honest and open your relationship is with your spouse/sig other.....

I think that once you have cheated that is it. Nobody deserves a second chance cause they will do it again. You got to be crazy if you do take them back.

if I cheated I had my chance, thats why I cheated.
Now the woman I cheated on...
she should have listened when i said I will always want to f&*&k other women.
So since she did not listen
Should I give her a second chance?
Will she expect one?
