Most domestic cats have four toes and one further up the paw. However, there are some cats that have five and six. I first noticed this anomaly when I lived on the East Coast. I think I remember that these were cats that had some Minx lineage.

Every now and again nature throws a curve ball for no particular reason. Some people are born with 4 toes & some 6. It just means somewhere along the development path in the womb - something got a little muddled. If she is developing normally and reaching all her expected milestones there is nothing to be concerned about. She's probably 1 in a million - a very special little girl - teach her that this means she is pretty unique and very special.

5 in the front and 4 in the back unless you have a kitten born a polydactle, where they have like 7 toes. Best to have them remove at a young age because they can grow in to the foot or pad and cause problems for her later

Cats normally have 5 toes on each foot. There ARE some cats that have 7 toes on each foot. They are relatively rare and make for really neat pets. I've had several 7-toed cats and each of them have been calmer and friendlier than my other cats.
