Apparently, everything that goes wrong is god's wrath in action - because we're all "sinners".

Observe... and shake your head sadly...
It's not about the tsunami, it's about Hurricane Katrina. And ignore my answer (it's just a rebuttal) but read the Christians' answers.
See what's behind the mask of 'compassion and pity'...

No. I don't believe that to be so at all. A tsunami is an act of nature caused by huge seismic forces, not by an angry grandpa in the sky.
Indonesia has had many many volcanic and earthquake events over the centuries, but the people in that part of the world are such beautiful people. Do you really think "sin" caused all of those events? I sure don't.

Well if you are a christian, and you are seeking answers you would realize that one of the best things God has given us here on earth is our freedom of choice.
All bad things that happen on earth are not caused or stopped by God. They are actions of man, nature and balance on the ever evolving world that we live in.
Although out the bible god never stepped in to stop any tragedy from occurring. He actually caused a lot of the mass killings.
Therefore it is not about sin or no sins...it is about nature of things of the world.
We have a great saying in this United States when tragedies come about........ **** Happens!!!!

Personally I love your questions dude, and especially the stupid answers that usually follow. But anyways I'm sure the best answers to this question are that it comes from the natural eco system of the earth, people need to be able to die. Diseases, starvation, firing Ze Missiles, and starving children all make sure that people die, and leave resources for the next generation.
If none of us died, how many people would be on the earth by now?

Yep.
There will be no peace, that includes from natural disaster, until the Prince of Peace comes back. Increasing natural disaster and increasing war are predicted as signs of the impending Apocalypse in the New Testament
