In Amazon.com, you can choose to pay by purchase order. I seen that today when I was ordering DVD's. I think it would be easier to use a credit card, though, and probably less expensive on the shipping and handling charges. If you open a checking account at a bank, you can get a debit card, which has the Visa or Mastercard logo on it.

Some websites, give you the option to pay by Money Order or Check. But, the majority you pay by credit/debit card.

When I was in that situation, I did my online shopping and chose my items. Then I went to the "contact us" section of their webpage and called the 800 number. Usually the sales staff can check your online order by phone with you and you can pay by check over the phone or make other arrangements and they will hold your order until they get paid.

Try debit cards. They're like a credit card only they're linked to a banc account of yours. No intrests, no nothing.
