My mother in law rose from the dead and I was up all night last night tracking her down and finding a shard of silver to put through her heart to keep her down where she belongs.

I can't come in to work today because I am having female issues.
Works for men and women. They don't even ask lol.
But I am a stay at home mom, and I have yet to come up with a good excuss to get out of work. Moms don't get sick days lol.

i don't go to work i go to school but i fake sick sometimes. well, a lot.
just plug your nose when you're calling in and you'll sound like you have a stuffy nose!
or you could say "my aunt (or other family member/pet) died."
OR you could say "i stepped on a rusty nail and have to go to the doctors."
ORRRRR you could say "i was at a restaurant last night and i was eating french onion soup but i didn't realize how hot it was. it burned my tongue and i jumped up, only to knock my head against a waiter's dish of food. he was carrying (believe it or not) more steaming hot french onion soup and now i have 2nd degree burns everywhere."
there are millions of possiblities - be creative!
