God is not responsible for BAD things. Don't you know that the bible says that Satan is the ruler of this world.

Oh no! God allows all things to happen. ex. the tsunami in Asia: I think he allowed that because the people weren't acting as they were suppose to. I mean...I bet you could've see many naked girls around there. And maybe it was a punishment for the people of Asia that they serve all those imaginary gods, and they do all kinds of weird stuff.
And about you last affirmation, that Gos is a figment of man's imagination... if you would read the Bible, and see all the things that happened in the past, for example the flood... and do some research today, you will find out that those things truly happened. And many scientists will say the same...of course...the ones that have done real and serious research. By the way... did you hear about the latest thing that scientist have proved? It's the fact that this world is not older than 130.000 years. And if you do a deep reasearch in the Bible, you will figure out the same thing, because ppl thought until now that the world is millions of yrs old, because it has been affected by the flood during Noah's life. Oh. And also. if you read the Bible, you will find out why Israel ppl and arabian ppl hate each other and always have wars. and you will also find out that they are never going to make peace. they will always hate each other.

Maybe this question doesn't involve God at all. If there is a god, he lets us make choices and live out the consequences. If there isn't a god then we make choices and live out the consequences. People are so eager to say that because a being is all powerful that he must want to micromanage every aspect of his creation. I have little belief in the idea that there is a plan for everything. My belief lies in a god who is a teacher, not a dictator. Such a god is responsible for the good and bad in the world only as far as he lets it happen (even if it is only a figment of my imagination).

Well you do have a point of the figment of mans imagination. But who created the univerce, obviously your imagination didnt do that. I honestly believe he is a spirit to powerful, pure, and strong to even be seen or known to man, even In heaven. He created mankind, and left It up to us to make our world what It is. If hes needed, he will be your guide, but he cant make the decisions. Like starving children, the countrys that have a lack of food and water, thats just the way It is. If every country was like America the world would be to crowed and everything would be shipped to hell. There is some reason for it, but only he knows. Its all a test. Mabie the test is to see how great mankind can really be as one, and if your going to help out to stop all the bad things going in the world. But its never gonna happen. So dont sit around wondering why he doesnt control everybodies life which goes wrong, do something about It.

Why is it when something bad is happening, suddenly God is not responsible for that?
I am so very sorry that you think God is a figment of man's imagination. Nothing could be farther from the truth!. God is real and He is a Spirit and He who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. God is loving, holy, faithful, all knowing, gentle, kind and He is concerned about you! He is also a God that shall not lie or the son of man that He shall repent. His Word is true and He watches over it to perform it and His Word never come back void it accomplishes just what He said.
God is always in control even when we think things go or seem to go astray.
Satan is a spirit too. He is the prince of the air and have power to do thing in the earth. He is a legalist. If one opens the door he will come in and reek havoc in ones life.
Sometimes the very things we speak with our own mouths can cause things to happen because words are life.
Sometimes things happen because of things parents do or did.
God visits sin to the 3rd or 4th generations.
Sometimes demonic spirits and curses are assigned to races and geographical territories
Sometimes God only knows. His Word tells us His thoughts are not our thoughts nor His ways our ways.
In the Holy Bible, please read Matthew Chaper 24 entirely it will tell of the things that are happening and are to come . Also, please read Deuteronomy Chapter 29 verse 29. Please make note of the secret things belong to the LORD our God.
I hear your heart,
Servant

Why is it that when something bad happens man is suddenly not responsible but God gets blamed? That seems really convenient for agnostics/atheists. Ex. Holocaust (people destroying people), starving children (people destroying people), flooding in New Orleans (politicians neglecting the dams at the expense of the poor).
So why is it that when things are well He never gets credit for that? Only the bad stuff.
Personally, I think that He is an awesome God Who loves me and provides all things for my well being. He has been faithful even when I have not. I am so very thankful for His being extremely gracious to me, His favored creation. And at the end of my life I will walk with Him in Paradise knowing Him even as I am known.
I hope this effectively answers your question.

Another good question would be...
'Why is it that when anything bad happens the person who did that bad thing is not responsible?'
I don' think God is a figment of our imagination, but people perceive God wrong. God is not a man with omnipotent powers. God is the one that created us. God doesn't control things. God doesn't punish and reward based on how we believe. God is a teacher.
But people find it easier to blame something else when something goes wrong, rather then themselves.....'Its the Devils Work!!!'

God is not responsible for bad things that we, as humans bring on ourselves. God has given us a gift called "free will". This allows us to chose if we are going to do right or wrong. If we decide to do bad things, then we will have to live with the consequences of those things and vice versa.
Humans have done vicious things to each other (holocaust), which causes bad things to happen on earth, (tsunami). When we learn to live in peace, then maybe the problems in the world will no longer be so sever.

If you are sure that God is a figment of Man's imagination why do you worry what God does or doesn't do? You think there's no god so God couldn't have caused the Holocaust, or starving children...those things just happened...like you...you just happened..like the big stone in your backyard,,,it just happened. You and the big stone has the same level of intelligence..Stupid!

I read something in the book Angels and Demons that made sense to me. It said that God is like a parent - he helps us, but sometimes lets us make mistakes to learn a lesson. I'm not sure where I stand on anything, but I think it's hard to argue that there isn't some sort of higher being that created life and everything else. But then, just being people, we probably can't comprehend anything in the big scheme of things. We're probably the equivalent to a dog looking at a television and wondering why he can't get the cat inside it.

God is responsibel for all choices man makes, indirectly, because he gave man the power of free will. However, without this power, you wouldn't have the power to deny his existence, as you obviously choose to do. I talked about soul-making in one of your other questions, but also. If the world were perfect and God made his presence felt, then faith would no longer exist, because people would KNOW God exists. Also, if all was good and none was bad, how would you know good? I'm not saying faith is a counterpoint to knowlege, it's more a knowlege that doesn't need facts to support it.
I SAID THAT GOD IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE THINGS, AND MAN NEEDS TO WORK THROUGH GOD TO HELP HIS BROTHER.
