The Bible says that he who does not believe in the name of the Jesus Christ is "condemned already."
It may not be necessary to tell someone who is condemned to hell already to "go there," but rather more profitable to show him WHY his is condemned.
Sinners are condemned to hell for their lawlessness; lying, stealling, adulterous, blasphemous, coveteous lifestyle.
No one will go to hell because they haven't heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, but because of sin.
Anyone who doesn't repent for thier sins and trust in Jesus Christ (who took the punishment for your sins) will perish and be lost eternally.
I hope to see you in heaven one day!

I think that many times, it is simply someones way of telling you that they really don't want to be around you or care what you say or feel right at that moment.
