Not all theists do. I am a Catholic Christian and I try to live this life given to me by the best of my ability. I love my life here with my family. I do my best to show my love for others and for God and Christ. Not all of us Christians neglect this life. And unless you have died and come back you can not tell us anything about the afterlife.

THIS life is meant to serve by worshipping god so that they can have an afterlife. you know, kind of like how before people used to make lots of donations to the church to "buy" a place in heaven that the priests guranteed would be there. glad that don;t do that anymore these days.

If you can prove to me that there is no afterlife, then I will accept the fact you just called a lie the absolute truth. I guess we will see who is correct when we die. Right?

You have it backwards. My afterlife is the real life I am looking forward to. This is just a temporary place for me to be.

This life is like a vapor and vanishes away.

Why do you generalize people? For those who do neglect this life, it's either because they're lazy or because they value the next life over this one.

Neglecting? Who's neglecting? I love my life and it's all thanks to the God I am going to spend the afterlife with, as well.

Living your life to the glory of God is neglecting it?

It's called faith. Faith is the belief in that which is unseen.

We all have faith, as I've said before. We all go to bed expecting to rise in the morning. Many do not because they expire during the night. Yet, we are not surprised to get up and go.

Faith. We all have it.

It's a primal disappointment with the "real". So they turn to the "unreal" in hopes of satisfaction. Nothing more.
