No but you will most likely be called to teach Primary now...that will be your punishment! It is nice to see there is another Mormon out there with a sense of humor!

I have been a Mormon but am no longer am one. I believe alot of what the church teaches. I just don't believe in the Prophet being divinely inspired. I dont believe you are going to hell any more than I believe a good Catholic is going to hell in believing the Pope as the same of the Prophet. All things good are Inspired of God. A good man will go to heaven (or woman or child).

Not if you belive in God AND do what he says, and act the way you're suppose to. About the part with humor...now there is a problem. many people think that becoming a christian, and living like a true christian means not having fun at all, etc. That is so wrong. God is the one that gave us the sense of humor! We just need to deveop it in a good way.

If you are a Mormon, you are already in a hell of your own making: taking on faith (always a bad thing to do) doctrines which were promulgated by a charlatan and are beyond any sort of verification. But it is not all bad: LDS teaches thrift, husbandry, and self-reliance, which are virtues in any society.

I'm sorry that more people cannot be compassionate on their responses.

My understanding of scriptures is that going to heaven is through making Jesus Christ the lord of your life and putting him in control of your life. Do you have a relationship with God? If so, it does NOT matter what church you go to. But I would pray about where God wants you to go.

Having only one wife is so... ungenerous of you. You should have more than one wife to admire you and benefit from your wisdom, strength, sense of humor, and goodness, oh Bearded One. Why are you depriving worthy young women of your person?

Oh, right, Mormons can't have more than one wife any more.

You know, you can't please a Mormon wife. If you say, "No, I don't want another wife, one is PLENTY for me," she gets offended. If you say, "Sure, I'd LOVE to have another wife," she gets offended. Best not to say anything at all about it.

The Bible says those who do not believe on the Son are destined for perdition. It also says belief on the Son is the only way to escape perdition.

I love it! More people need to know that Mormons are not polygamist. And more people need to know that a lot of us Mormons have a great sense of humor!

of course not!!! President Hinckley has a sense of humor, and so did Joseph Smith!!

(for the non-LDS people answering this question, Gordon B. Hinckley is president of the "Mormon" Church)
