I got to thinking..as he likes sticking his head out of the window so much, why not put a seat on the roof for him? Where could I purchase such a seat? Can anyone help? He's a Saint Bernard.

Have him sit like a human in a big rocking chair strapped to the roof of your car. Maybe even put a dress on him and you can re-enact the openning credits to the Beverly Hillbillies.
As for your Garfield, I've got one I'll sell you. Nicked it off the top of some idiot's Citroen C5.
