If Darwin became a Christian then why do so many people believe in evolution when the creater of evolution believed in God. And plus there is no proof of evolution and if we evolved from monkeys wouldn't we still be evolving today?

those of you that believe it's a myth just don't want to accept the truth because you are too caught up in the lies of evolution.

Not sure where you got your information, but it wouldn't surprise me, many of the well known scientists of today do believe in a higher power.

Just because you're Christian doesn't mean you can't believe that the Higher Power created evolution.

There has been proof that we are evolving. 200 years ago, the typical hight of man was 5'5". Now the typical hight of man is 6'. We've not just evolved to be taller, but more lean as well. People where a lot more Hefty 200 years ago.

Also, a fish known as the Coelacanth has been discovered. This 400-millions year old fish has developed limbs, like legs and arms - which supports the theory that fish evolved to walk on land.

Did you know that Darwin was a Christian his entire life? What the hell does this have to do whether or not people should believe in a scientific fact. many great scientists have been Christian. Your other statements are false and misleading as well. there is ample proof of evolution. Thousands upon thousands of scientific papers which confirm it's existence. And by the way, there is also ample evidence that we are still evolving. Try reading. It won't hurt.

Three things:

1) That story is a hoax.

2) Even if it was true, how does that change the evolution theory? Even if Darwin was kidding about it, the theory has been tested, reinforced and corrected, the theory has been taken seriously and had been studied that whatever Darwin did after it is pointless. It's pointless what Darwin believed or didn't believe, the theory keeps going.

3) What makes you think we have stopped evolving? Your asseveration makes me wonder if you've read anything about the theory of evolution at all.

Darwin never converted to Christianity, that's not true. It's just another lie perpetrated by religious wingnuts because the truth hurts their case.

By the way, allow me to corrrect your other mistakes. Darwin did not create evolution, he merely noticed it, recognized it and wrote about it.

Also, there is FAR more proof of evolution than there ever could be of creation. If you needed proof, you wouldn't believe in god.

Also, we did not evolve from monkeys, we and monkeys evolved from common ancestors. If you cannot understand the difference, that's to be expected.

Also, we are still evolving. But since evolution spans many generations, you will never notice it in your lifetime.

If you have any other misconceptions, and I'm sure you do, please post them. I enjoy educating people.

Charles Darwin did not come up with the theory of Evolution. It had been around years before. He also did not ever believe that man evolved from apes. He did believe that lower animals evolved though. People gave him credit for it, because his theories became a powerful proponent of evolution.

The theory of humans coming from monkeys I believe was after Darwin. Darwin's theory of evolution was basically survival of the fittest. Evolution is not strictly one form changing to an extreme other form. Evolution could simply be the fact that animals grow thicker fir for the winter to stay warm and shed it in the summer to stay cool.
I am a bible believer but simple evolution like this example I believe in.

Perhaps you should resource your material a little better my friend. That is a long dispoven fable. Funny though, it was a lie, created by xtians...isn't lying supposed to be a sin?
Darwin's daughter Henrietta was at his deathbed. She said that her father did not become a Christian before he died. This was reported in the Humanist magazine. Darwin's son Francis wrote a book about his father in which no mention was made that his father was ever converted. Quite the contrary, he confirmed that he was an agnostic, an unbeliever until his dying day.
Believe what you will, personally, I would have thought his family would have known, considering...

In the immortal words of Nelson Muntz of the 'Simpsons'...AHH, HAAA!!! (points finger @ you)

;)

Your poor attempt at saving face is too little, too late. Perhaps next time, you'll research your information beforehand. I forgive you your Pride, though. You must be embarrassed.(I would be, you're even getting laughed at by xtians, lol!)

There is TOO proof of evolution, you are just blind to it and refuse to except the fact that maybe god WANTED man to evolve.
And we are still evolving. We are getting taller. We are, on average, 6 inches taller than 100 years ago. And our bodies adapt to weather.
For example, if you moved to Africa, then 10 generations down the line, you family would be dark skinned because of the sun, and not JUST because of the heat and sunburns. The skin would toughen up and develop a resistance to the burning.
Duh.

We are still evolving today.

Charles Darwin was always a Christian, not just at the end of his life.

We are still evolving. The natural selection has been prevented by science and medicine. Thousands of years ago sick, weak, and handicaped people died. They would not have grown old or reproduced.
Another eveloution, think about it for a minute...
ADD/ADHD and an assortment of strees disorders, chemical imbalances... We treat them as illnesses but thease conditions arise because of our society. If we only had to worry about food shelter and our imediate family the fight or flight response would not be causing all this anxiety.
