Not exactly. Yes, you should be honest with each other. But sometimes there are those things that you know, but you don't think that they should. Like (for example) you shouldn't tell him what your friend said about his odor. Or maybe what she said about how controlling he is. Those kind of things I find are better left unsaid and unmentioned. But other then that I think that being completely honest with your partner is a great idea. That's what I do, and so far, I've only had great experiences.

I guess been honest is a relative term.
I really dont think anyone is 100% honest 100% of the time. Much less a couple to each other.
But then honesty is vital in a relationship as much as communication.
You also need to know how to tell certain white lies, and you simply cannot cling on to the ruse of honesty if you know that the other person will be hurt if you tell them the "bitter truth".
Lets put it this way, A couple HAS to TRUST each other 100%, should LOVE eachother 99% and should be HONEST to eachother 98% of the time.
Hope this helps!!

Like is she asked if she's getting fat, and you think so, and say, "yeah, you are getting fat". I would say 100% honesty about the important things, but sometimes what is left unsaid, is the strongest building block of marriage.

No becuz there will always be things that u can keep from one another. 4 ex: If I told my boyfriend that I had an undercover job, I would think he would get over it. But if he doesn't than it would haunt me 4 ever instead of it being behind me. I mean, What if they 4 some reason have something?

Of course. But, in reality that will never happen. Women are not capable of being totally honest because that involves being politically incorrect sometimes. How many women do you know that will actually say to a guy, in no uncertain terms, that she doesn't want to be with him? That's not what they do. What women do is tell guys that "they just want to be friends", or "you're like a brother to me". How many women do you know that will say "I am not physically attracted to you and I find you boring"? How many women try to elicit responses from guys with the expectations that the guy tell them what they want to hear? For example: "Am I fat?", or "Do you love me?", or "What do you think about her?". How about this one: "Of course I'm on birth control. Take that nasty rubber off. I want to FEEL you!" Women are not creatures of logic. They are creatures of emotion, and therefor will never be able to be completely honest.

Absolutely, if you want your relationship to last. Only those who have something to hide would say no. The one exception would be if someone else confided in you and ask you to keep it to yourself. But that is not a secret between you and your other half.

Yes because once someone knows they have been lied to it changes everything and if you cant be honest about something then it shouldn't be happening.
