This is the question that my boss asked me last night. I had to tell him. Black guys are just not my type. Neither are asians. I am married now... so it really doesn't matter.. he asked all of us... so the fact that I am married wasn't really taken into account.. but... honestly.. I've never been attracted to asians or black people. ...

Like I said.. my boss asked this question as an open ended question...
P.S.
My boss is younger than me... he's only 20 years old... Does that put it into perspective? lol

I'm not a racist.. My Godparents are black. My best friend back home was black. Obviously I'm not racist.. Don't be so closed minded as to assume that's what I am. ugh... close-minded hippies get on my nerves!

I'm just not attracted to them, they're culture or anything. I'm not against it. It's just not my style.. or my thing. A lot of people are saying that race doesn't matter.. but .. the skin color may not matter but the race usually determines the roots and where they came from, their background, culture, style, the way they believe and the things that they do... that's what I'm not attracted to...

I would. It depends on their personality, I don't care about skin color. Plus, you can learn something by not staying in the same race. But if you're not attracted, you're not attracted, and you can't do anything to change that. You have one weird boss...why, was he black or asian? Maybe you can get some money out of him for harassment. Just kidding...good idea though, right?

You mean a horse? Or a Whale?
Because if you're talking about a person then we are all the same RACE.
The only distinguishing feature among humans is skin color. I have A rh+ blood, so does a friend of mine who is black. And I'm betting I could find someone with my exact same blood type in every cultural and geographic group on earth.

I dont know why your boss would ask such a question in the first place?. Having said this, to me race has nothing to do with it. Attraction would have to do with how well you get on with that person; How good their heart was; Is there good communication between you two etc..
For me I dont look at the race.
I look at the person as a whole. Heart and all.

I've been married now for five years and her race never crossed my mind. You may say that you are not racist but just reread that last paragraph you wrote very slowly back to yourself. It doesn't matter whether you have a million black friends what you wrote was racist and offensive.

I wouldn't have a problem being with an Asian, Black, White, Hispanic or any lady of any nationality. The factor that would count would be her and her personality. We would have to match deeper than an attraction.

Sure, if they were my type. I have dated Asians, blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans before. I ended up married to a Scot, but her race played no role in why I wanted to be with her.

I don't understand your question at all. I thought it was the human race.
BTW this was not an appropriate question for your boss to ask. It is sexual harassment. You and your fellow employees should contact his boss about this. There is no reason for you to have to answer personal questions about any sexual preference at work unless you are in the porn industry.

It's okay if one HAPPENS not to be attracted to people of a certain race (or for that matter, hair color or EYE color), regardless of whether it's one's own or not. Also, it's okay for people who HAPPEN to be of different races (or for that matter, hair colors or EYE colors) to be romantically and/ or sexually involved, even to the point of getting married and having children.

First, I wasn't aware of an "opposite race". Secondly, why is this question posted in the Religion & Spirituality section?

There is a saying that for the taste there are different colors.
I am not predigest, I married who I knew I fall in love with. I never notice his race or color.
