What? Are you trying to tell me there is no Santa? I don't believe you! He does exist and Virginia proved it in court!

Christ on a bike have you no concept of the burdern of proof? Nobody can prove that something didn't happen or does not exist because that depends entirely on negative evidence. So first prove that something exists and then see if people will believe you.

Proof of Santa Claus please. Now. Don't bother with all that god stuff, that's far too ludicrous.

Santa does exist. Not as a person but as an idea that prompts people to get things for their loved ones that they can not really afford or their loved ones deserve. The spirit of giving dwells in most of us but it swells during the holiday season as we hear of all the great things life has provided. When people lose their faith in Santa their lives start to shrink. Having the many reminders of Santa may aid in our keeping the giving mood but to me the joy in children's eyes upon finding treats makes everything worthwhile.

People stop believing in Santa Claus because they don't want to believe in him anymore.
Christians love to confuse themselves with weird statements and stuff like that. Get over it. They want to believe that Jesus died on a big huge wooden cross even though they can't prove it ever even happened, yet they refuse to believe that a jolly old elf might just possibly be the one leaving gifts under the Christmas tree even though they can't prove he isn't.

You mean ... Santa doesn't exist???

I refuse to believe it, heretics! You will all burn come next Christmas (or the next one after that) and then you'll see the true might of Santa.

All who do not follow his teachings of peace, love, giving gifts to children once a year and indiscriminate spending through the holiday season is terribly wrong and will burn in the deepest pits of the North Pole.

PS. I will pray for all of you so that you may see the right path!

PPS. Bigotry rules!

Because they're Satan worshippers and are deceived.

Everyone knows Santa Claus exists. He lives next door to the Easter Bunny.

We stop believing in his because the myths surrounding him are utterly ridiculous.
Most of us outgrow the childish notion of santa at a young age. Some however, need that emotional security blanket for thier whole life. And what an utterly pathetic life it must be...

Well no one brings us free presents anymore. When I leave out cookies on Christmas Eve no one eats them but me. My parents finally confessed after years of interrogation and torture that they were the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, and the Tooth Fairy.

Some people feel its necessary to live a just life solely to be rewarded (or punished) by a higher power. I'll say that a lump of coal is not much of a deterrent from sin.

They see their parents put the presents under the tree instead of Santa.
