are they there to judge me or something? It's happened to me more than once, and sometimes its a little uncomfortable, but i not going to tell her that she cant bring someone along.

Honestly, just tell her that you don't feel comfortable with her bringing her friend along. It's lame and makes the 3rd wheel feel uncomfortable too.

It's way more comfortable for the girl to have a close friend there and it does also help to get their opinion. It is kind of awkward though, most don't include them in the date but have their friend coincidentally be at the same place at the same time.

It's not to judge you. It's just 'cause the person you asked out does not know you well and she wants to be on the safe side. I usually do a double date on the first date with a guy.

Next time that happens, pay more attention to her friend and see if she brings her again.
