Not at all. Illegal aliens are exactly that because they can't afford to come here legally.

It would slow it down but stop it, I doubt it they will always find another way to get here. Until America gets serious about enforcing immigration laws it already has and starts cracking down on businesses they knowingly hire illegals can some type of message be sent. As it is everyone here must be writing back home come on over immigration laws are hardly enforced all you have to do is make up SS# are obtain one by means of fraud.Wanting a better life is one thing but to lie, cheat, steal id's of others is morally wrong. Something is very backwards about this. Don't look to congress or Bush for help. Their only interest is to remain in power.

They would be as resolute, but it would be a little harder and more work to get in.
The real problem that needs to be delt with, that people keep avoiding is "why are they comming?". They are comming here because of poor conditions back where they are from. The Mexicans are not much more than slaves for a Mexican government that owes it's aliegence to big business and wealthy families. (Not much different than what it's becomming here.) Something like 14 families own 95% of all the land in Mexico.
We need to focus on finding reasons for the foriegners to stay in their own country, not focus on keeping them out of ours. When there is hope in their own country the problem of mass exodus will be solved.

NO!!! If we enforce our borders,it will STOP (or at least slow to a trickle) the FLOOD of ILLEGALS that are coming here!!! the Minutemen proved that,by patrolling parts of the border!!! The ILLEGALS crossing, was WAY down in that sector!!!!!

With that logic we should top enforcing all of our laws because people will only be more resolute to break them.

That is why we also need interior enforcement and to dismantle the employment and benefit magnets that draw them here (after we decide what to do with those already here.

By definitions, a person who sneaks across the border is not an immigrant. Immigrants have to have IMMIGRATED, which is the legal way to do it. If you sneak across the border, you are an alien.
