i had the exact same thing a few years ago. my right ear all of a sudden started to hurt so bad, i want to the emergency room. the dr. there gave a diagnosis of : right otitis externa (an infection of the ear canal/commonly known as swimmers ear). he gave me a script for antibiotics (which i still use to this day, because every once in a while i feel it start to act up again). i had swelling of the ear canal which caused my hearing to get very bad. go to your dr. he/she will help you. i know how painfull this is!!

You better see an Ear, Nose, Throat specialist to determine what's wrong. It's either the infection did not go away, or you could have some damage to your tubes. My mom's eardrum burst one time after having a really bad sinus infection - she was on the plane, and the pressure finally got to her eardrums. She's had problems with her tubes almost all her life. Some people are just more prone to ear infections and sinus infections. You have to take care of the problem because it can easily get out of hand. You've had the problem since February, that's way too long already - your ears should have been better by now. I strongly suggest you pay a visit to your doctor or see the ear/nose/throat specialist who is an expert on such things.
Goodluck to you!

Have you gone to a doctoe to get the right meds or are you just taking leftovers for you cupboard? Sounds like swimmers ear maybe and sounds like the infection is spreading. So to the doc and get some real good antibiotics and some hydrocortizone ear drops.

Try getting your teeth looked at. I had an ear infection that wouldn't go away and I went to the emergency many times. I finally went to a different doctor and the doctor told me it wasn't my ear it was my tooth. You can try that. Hope you feel better soon.

do you swim? or do you think you might of gotten water in there? You might have swimmers ear and it takes a while to get rid of. So i suggest staying away from water. (I know its hard since its summer but you can do it!)
