The worst version is probably DOS, but that's probably not concidered Windows, so Windows 3.1. Probably they are all equally vulnerable to spyware. If you want something less vulnerable, get Linux.

Good Luck!

The first version is the worst version.
Windows XP Pro is the best and is less vulnerable to spyware.

Windows ME was by far the worst - even a "downgrade" to 98SE was significantly better. The best is flip a coin between XP Pro and 98SE.

Ironically at the moment 98SE is also probably the least susceptible to new spyware - half of it probably won't even run on a system that old, the rest of it will choke on IE5. Of course there is still all the *old* spyware and viruses lurking for it out there.

umm i think the old versions of windows are the worst. the best are either 2000 or XP. with XP, some of the earlier software programs arent compatible with XP and have errors. but yet XP (not sure) might be less vulnerable to spyware since it is used with better technology.

Windows "Bob" was definitely the worst. It is a short-lived version released around 2000 that had a room of cartoon characters you have to click on for information as a desktop, instead of the normal icons 'n stuff.
