Yes, go to Bodrum castle but make sure to bring plenty on sun cream and bring enough money to buy frozen water, mind you there's alot of steps! Then there's great nightlife! SHOPPING! OMG Don't get sunglasses till you get there! But don't let people hassle you, they do that alot, and bartering can get you a bargain, and if you've got blonde hair and blue eyes your good luck, people will tap your head! A must is Bodrum bus station, just get on a bus (in Turkey it's called a Dolmus) go anywhere and you might end up somewhere fantastic!
All in all Bodrum is a fantastic place if you can just chill out and soak up the traditional Turkish atmosphere (including the mosques!) don't forget to try the baklava! IT'S DELICIOUS!

I've been to bodrum 5-6 times and i love it. the Turkish people are really friendly although be careful as you walk past bars and restaurants as they will try their very best to get you into their place rather then the one further up the road. this can get quite annoying but if you say 'no' and carry on walking they will leave you alone. the nightlife is fantastic if you are into clubbing.a major 'do' is the open air nightclub. don't eat the ice cream and don't drink the water. if you get the chance go to the water park for the day this is usually done through the reps it's a great day and there are slides for all ages. if you don't want to go on the slides there are sun loungers in the water so you can relax. there are life guards on duty at all times. if there is anything else you want to know just ask.

First of all I dont know who this moikel is because he is making stuff up. You can show all the flesh you want. and you can certainly be topless. I have been there plenty of times and my fiancee has never kept her top on. I am not saying she walks around in the streets like that but on the beach. And in the streets she always walked around with a pair of shorts and a bikini top.
Bodrum is refered to as Bedroom throughout Europe. Amazing nighlife. That is what it is famous for. The beaches are noit the best in Turkey Cesme, Fethiye are better) but nightlife is crazy. try to goto Catamaran Club, ana amazing night life experience. A sail boat (catamaran) that sails every night at 10 PM until 6 Am, holds over a 1,000 people and a great party.
Bodrum is a different version of Mykanos or Ibiza.
Enjoy.

If you are in Bodrum for more than a day or two, see if you
can catch a boat to the local island of Kos, Greece. Short
trip and English is becoming more common there. Plus you
can take another boat to Kalymnos, or Rhodes. You'll probably
have more fun on these islands with their beaches and nightlife
than you would in Bodrum. Only drawback is they are a little
more expensive. When in Bodrum behave yourself,
they like to put westerners in jail and use them for sexual
purposes.

heyyy, what? do they like outting westerners in jail?
ohh, No, please dont talk about Turkey if you have never seen it! please!
I have gone abroad for several times and still there are people abroad asking me if we go to work by camels!!! Such style of talking without knowing anything makes people think like that!
I am an engineer of electronics and I have worked in bodrum for too much time and I have never seen somebody put into prison!
Turksih people are really one of the nations who shows most hospitality!
ı only feel sorry for my citizens in a national football match and please excuse those people who is pressured by so many enemies since 19th century, so whenever they win a small football match, they feel they have won a war:-)
except from these, Turkey is never and never and never a risky country and tourists are seen as the source of a better life so, no official behaves you badly!
ı am again very sorry for the words talked above!

Yes I have been a few times:-
Remember Turkey is an Islamic Country so please dont offend by showing too much flesh (naked is a no no and topless only for men).
Take plenty of Immodium as you are bound to get an upset tummy due to change in diet and water,
and if you're doing aboat cruise dont use the ice or tap water on board as its made from impure water.
anything cooked and HOT is OK to eat but salads etc can be prpoblematic and MILK shakes COST more than GIN!!
