1) File a report with local law enforcement.
2) Contact your bank and have them flag your account for unusual activity.
3) Call all your credit card companies and have them flag your accounts or close them or ask for a re-issue of cards. Failure to do so can make your liability greater.
4) Report the situation to Transunion, Experian and Equifax. They are the three major credit reporting agencies. Ask for a copy of your credit report and look for any new accounts in your name.
5) Report it to the social security office
6) Periodically check your credit report, immediately start the dipute process if you see unusual activity.

Call the credit card company and have the account closed. Contact the three credit reporting agencies and obtain copies of your credit report. If you find charges that you did not make, then you will have to take the steps to have those charges removed.

Report it to the Social Security office. The Police Department. Then call all your credit card people, people who have personal info about you, tell them to put everything on HOLD. It gonna suck for the next 6 months or so, but you gotta do this. Start putting everything on HOLD. Get cleared up first.

You need to make sure all of your finances are in order meaning you don't have any weird purchases in your name or you are not losing any money especially if you have not bought anything recently. I suggestion filing for a credit report to check. But If you have not become a victim after you have checked you still nedd to remain watchful

you can call equifax, transunion, or experian, and report that there is fraudlent acitivity using your identity. second you might want to close out your bank account and reopen another one at your bank if they are using your debit cards or taking money out of your bank accounts...visit your local police station and ask to speak to an officer and see what advice he/she can give you to help you along.
