Yeah, they are similar, but I think the pit bull has a bigger head then the boxer.

Yes, they sometimes do. And a lot of people can mistake them as such. And think of boxer mixes that look a LOT like pits. That's when you realize how incredibly stupid banning a certain breed is. Because it's up to you to prove what you dog is not. With breed specific legislation, you are innnocent until proven guilty if someone accuses you of owning a certain breed.

Some do, my boxer when he was a puppy looked alot like a pit and some people still think he does.

I have a boxer and a lot of people think she is a Pitt. I can see some similarities.

I do have two boxers and to me, they look nothing like pitt bulls. However, I have had people see them in pictures and ask it they are pitts. So, I guess if you are unfamiliar with certain dogs, and are never around them, then yes maybe they would, to them, resemble a pitt butt.

no, my second cousin is a boxer and her friend is a pitbull and a ameriacan bulldog, american bulldogs look like white boxers, not the english bulldogs, but the tall, american ones.

not at all... a boxer has long lean legs..its head is more boxy ish. while a pit is lower to the ground, leg wise. tends to have more musce deffinition and its head has an obviose difference in the jaw structure

not at all... but to the unfamiliar.. the fright of pitbulls might scare them away from anything close... and considerring their stocky nature and bulldogish face, someone might confuse the two...
but they are both great dogs if raised right...

no i don't think a boxer looks like a pittbull. you can tell because a pittbull is smaller than a boxer
