The word gay was a perfectly good word in the past. It meant happy and carefree.

A group of people hi-jacked the word - now it means only one thing. Its modern connotation is no longer carefree or happy.

Lately I notice a similar group are campaigning for the word 'curious'. I resent the the lost of both words.

Why don't you people create new words instead and leave the current set of word meanings intact so people like me can be as descriptive as we once were?
