Health professionals tell us that it is essential to prevent dehydration by drinking plenty of water each day. Is the hydration effect just as good, or almost as good, when you add Wyler's (etc.) to the water?

Everytime you drink something, you're getting a certain degree of "hydration," but whenever things are added to your water, your body is not only being hydrated, but also responding to whatever substances are in the additive. Drinking green tea will hydrate your body, but the anti-oxidants in the tea are interacting with certain organs, and of course, so is the caffiene. Plain water gives your body a chance to flush out the toxins without having to perform other functions at the same time. The best thing to do is to drink a few glasses of plain water every day and also drink some flavored drinks. With powdered drinks, try making them weaker than the package instructions suggest--you'll get the flavor you need and it'll be easier on your system.

Yup. In fact, it may be better for you, because you are likely to drink more if it tastes good.
