A "glob" is different from a blog. A glob is when someone asks a catchy question. Then, they use the "additional details" section to go into a long-winded rant. I confess that I have done it. Should we ban globbing here on Yahoo Q&A?

Nay because sometimes that space is needed to clarify the question or give background information.

Now did you just make up Glob? Maybe trying to get a new catchy word started? Might work.

BTW a Blog is short for weblog

Nay... sometimes that extra information lets us know that the question is a waste of our points

No, I don't believe in censorship. If you don't want to read someone's long glob, just don't!
