actually two dvc 4ohm can be wired to 1ohm by connecting all positive terminals and all negative. be sure to get a 1 ohm stable amp. to power those 2 type r's hifonics would make a good amp. i powered a type x with one and it soudned great.

I agree with metal. Type R DVC 4ohm subs can be wired to represent a 2 or 8ohm load. Just use two, wire them individually as 2ohm, then wire the dual 2ohm subs to single 4 ohm load.

well u might have 2 get a 3 channel amp but they don't make that kind so you will need a high watt low current 4 channel amp

i dont know what amp you can use, but just so you know having 3 subs in your car, is going to be about exactly the same as having 2 subs in your car. if i were you, i would leave the third out as a spare, or sell it.
