I would talk to your Dr. about these things a little more in depth. Kidney stones can cause blood in the urine but it is usually microscopic amounts, and it can cause the pain in your sides. A urinary tract infection can cause visual blood in the urine and pain in your flanks.....as for too much sex causing it.....I doubt it....but it cause the urinary tract infection. I will tell you what I tell every one of my friends.....whether you are a guy or girl...you have to pee after intercourse. This will help to clean out all the stuff that got shoved up inside your urethra during intercourse. Like I said though.....you need to really talk to your Dr. about what is going on and the concerns that you have. He can only go by what you tell him. Good Luck and hope you feel better soon.

Take into consideration what the doctor is telling you. Blood in urine can be linked to all sorts of things. Most common is a bladder or kidney infection. Kidney stones can cause blood in urine simply because you will inevitably pass them out.
Sex has cause problem with urination in men and women but blood is serious. Talk to you doctor immediately. Get on some antibiotics or cut back on the sex.

My father found blood in his uring about 15 years ago, and the next day he had a tumor the size of a football, removed along with the kidney that it had grown in.
Very serious. Renal cell cancer is serious. Go to your doctor and get this checked out. The doc told my dad that he wouldn't have had much time left, had he not noticed the blood in his urine that day.

I just went through ESWL - Shockwave Lithotripsy to break up an 8 mm stone. In my experience the pain when the stone is still in the kidney is more abdominal than back. When the stone drops into the ureter is when you start to have the severe back pain and bleeding. Sounds like the stones are in the ureter - suggest you see a Urologist - ask for a strong pain killer like Vicadin or Percocet.

I have had similar problems also. Mine turned out to be caused by a stone that was too big to pass. It was also shaped like a capsule so it didn't show up as being big on an x-ray. It would move around from time to time and cause blood in the urine. Good luck.

You could have a kidney problem. I have experienced this before. You need to seek medical attention as soon as possible.
Kidney stones are really hectic and they could be causing the pain in your sides.
I think you should get a second opinion from another doctor.

Yes, there is a chance you could be having stones again or an infection of your prostate. It's important that you go to your doctor and get this treated. Don't play around with this. Get it treated and get it over with. The sex shouldn't have anything do to with it....unless she gave you a disease. Best of luck to you.

Blood in urine especialy in male patient is very abnormal. The presence of kidney stones can also cause this problem.I don't think having too much sex is the root of all of this. You better have urinalysis to confirm.Don't freak out.See your doctor immediately.

Could be a urinary tract infection. Go to the doc now. My daughter suffered with those for a long time and it turned into bladder reflux and she had to be treated for it for 2 years. It can get very serious.
