Because of all the ranting and raving that goes on here, I have really learned a lot about people and how they think. I mean, I really have learned a lot and it's been quite beneficial.

But the more I read religious banter and scriptures, the less interested I've become in them. In fact, if I see John 3:16....that's all I see. I do not read any further than that any longer... especially when it's cheaply done in the cut/paste method.

Me Thinketh Theyeth Cutteth and Pasteth Too Mucheth.

Most religious extremists are brainwashed as small children. They may be intelligent educated people, but have had these misguided ideas that result from the satanic influences in their various denominations. When they are questioned or challenged about them, they go ballistic. They can quote scripture all day long but don't have the slightest idea what the scriptures mean even though they think they do. (Satanic influence.)
The various denominations declare they are the true church, but there is only one true church - not Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons. The true church is not a denomination. It is people going out and working in the various churches and different religions to bring the holy word of God (Yahweh, Allah, Jehovah, Lord or whatever name) into the churches, synagogues, temples, or any other place or time. The true church is not just Christian, Jewish, Islam, Buddhist or any other. Believing in God (or other name for the Supreme Being) is the true church. Nobody has the religious right to attempt to force their religion on others or criticize others for their beliefs. Discuss the Supreme Being, but don't force it on anyone.

The Bible is a book to be understood, not quoted.

I recently proposed we rename the Christian Right to the Christian Rote. Maybe we need a name for the quoters.

I'd like to quote Ajax In Action 4:2
"Our goals are to design code that is flexible, maintainable, and fun to work with."

Make sense? Yeah out of context!

We are religious extremists because we quote God's Word? Perhaps if you stopped and listened you would be able to hear His still, small voice whispering in your soul. He loves you and wants you to spend eternity with Him. God's Word is uplifting, instructive, supportive, informative . . . It's a guide on how to live our lives and tells us the way to eternal life in heaven is through our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray you will invite Him into your life before it's too late. God bless! (See! No scripture!)

How dare people come into a forum labeled "Religion and Spirituality" and quote from their religious texts! They ought to be stoned forthwith!!

if you write in the religious part of the Q&A, expect to get bible quote,

i don't know the exact scripture, it says do not judge if you do not want to be judged thyself.

but like i said in this part of the Q&A you will and shell exspect to get bible quotes. and some folks don't really know how to say stuff without the use of the bible as their teachings and expressions.

hope this helps you understand.

I just skip over their answers to get to the ones that are original thoughts. More than one line of scripture and they lose me.

Equally as tired as I am of people like you. I hope you all find the "answers" you're looking for on a silly internet forum.

I don't mind the quoting if they're making a valid point, it's the mindless quoting I find irritating.
