1. Whatever you eat, make sure you're eating as little as possible at a time. If you can, only eat half of what you would normally and were prescribed to do per meal, but double the number of meals (if you normally eat 3 times a day, eat 6 times and half each time. If you want better results, increase the number of meals, especially with carbs - you want to burn them, not store them, and if you eat more than your body will burn in the next 90 minutes/2 hours, then the excess will be stored as fat. Plus, you should have more energy in the day.
2. Don't eat before bed if trying to lose fat. Exercise in the morning before eating - i know this sucks and you're all shaky, but it will yield better results. Try to exercise at least twice a day - cardio in the morning.
3. Stay hot. Normal reactions in the body create energy, and in any breaking of bonds (well most) as in when the body makes energy, heat is lost. Thus, heating the body is very easy in comparison to regulating it to become cooler. It takes more steps and thus more energy, plus the skin has to expand to let water (sweat) out, which takes more energy. Just hydrate well.
4. For extreme and rather unhealthy measures, but they work fast, take those smoking patches and pack a couple on each arm (you only take one at a time to quit smoking, but take about 4-6). They'll speed up your metabolism very much. Just be sure not to keep doing this. I mean, it would be kindof embarrassing to admit that you became addicted to nicotine and started smoking because of the patch... heh.

If you follow any diet exactly, no cheating you should be able to loose about 5lbs a week for the first 3-5 weeks. A lot of it is water weight and it is not healthy to loose any more than that. Women should only lose about 2-21/2lbs a week. Weight Watchers is the best diet I've ever done because the weight doesn't come fly back if you stop because you've made it more of a lifestyle change. Drink LOTS of water and don't cheat! Good Luck!!!

you can restrict your calories to 100-500 a day. I did this today(300 calories) and lost 3lbs. No joke. You can also run for 20-30 minutes a day,too to accelerate weight loss. For 2 days( and only 2 days) I ate only 500 calories and lost 5 lbs!!! It was hard the first day, not bingeing and all, but it got easier. And don't listen to the people that tell you you'll gain the weight right back, you know the only reason you'll gain it back is because you binge. I mean going from 500 to 2000 is HUGE! The way to do is to gradually increase your calorie intake day by day, like 500 to 550 the next day, and the next day, 600, then 650 ,etc...until you get to maintanence level. Working out during that time would be crucial, too. You can do it!!

Eat 6-7 small meals a day about 2-3 hours apart. Get a little protein with each meal to speed your metabolism. Drink about a gallon of water a day to help the conversion of fat to energy. Do both anaerobic and aerobic exercise on alternate days to burn fat and maintain muscle weight. Get enough sleep (7-8 hours a night). Keep stress levels low. Don't eat carbs after 6pm. Have a protein snack before bed.

Just keep doing what you're doing. Right now, it'll seem as though nothing is happening, but the next time you get on the scale you will notice that a few pounds have dropped. Do stretches every morning (if you have time), walk/run, jump on a trampoline, swim. By no means, stop eating. This will actually make your metabolism go down because your body will start feeding off of it's own waste and the next time you eat it will store the food as extra fat instead of digesting it.

I just came from a cruise and you are going to love it. Getting thin fast requires a lot of will power. Drink lots of water. Eliminate all juices, soda and milk. Stay away from the carbs and starches like pasta, bread, rice. Eat more vegetables, chicken and fish. No red meat. Do not eat past 6pm. If you get hungry, jog in place, read a book, drink water or go to sleep. Trust me, this works. Remember, lots of water, no eating after 6pm are the main components.

You need to eat more and keep the exercises as long as you feel right doing it, it is recomended to eat more fat and milk during growth, have some chromium picolinate and mass builder with milk. In two weeks you may lower carbohidrates and increase milk. By the next week you will feel a little up, but shaped. Have fun.

First of all I'm sure you've heard the same-o, same-o about losing weight too quickly...but most likely the majority of weight you are talking about is water retention based, so the following is what has worked for me, the fruit cleanse got rid of a good "chunk" add the exercises and well...what can I say, lean, mean...
Fruit diet is ONLY to be carried on for no more than 8 weeks (but honestly by the end of the first 3 days...enough fruit already)
First a three day "fast" which is nothing to do with going hungry...day one: Breakfast is a bowl of fruits specifically strawberries, blueberries, bananas and melon, cubed. Follow that with a Protein drink made by adding 2 tbsp whey protein isolate powder to 8 ozs of water (although I substituted flavored water). Be sure the Protein powder has no sugar and the flavored water (if you choose that) has no aspartame.
Plenty of water through the morning, 2 hours after the above another bowl of fruit, this time cantaloupe, apple, watermelon and blueberries. More water.
Two hours later a mix of kiwi and strawberries
Two hours later a mix of apples and banana
Two hours later you get a reprieve from fruit...and eat up to 6 cups (yes, huge, I managed 2 cups) of salad topped with lemon juice and pure virgin olive oil. Include a protein drink as mixed above.
For evening snack a small bowl of cantaloupe, melon and strawberries. You can add blueberries too if you wish...great antioxidant.
Day 2 same as above but with just one protein drink
Day 3 as above one protein drink
Day four through 7 your normal diet, however trim the portions and if you use a dinner plate for your meal, change to a smaller plate to ensure smaller portions.
Next week repeat above.
Include as well:
A set of any 3 exercises you want for targeting the main areas of your body that you want firmed up. For instance, if this is the stomach...choose a crunch sit-up, a bicycle crunch and a cross punch exercise (standing you place one arm above your head the other across your stomach, hands in fists. Make a punching motion with both arms, i.e. left arm above head and right across stomach means you'll punch the left arm towards the right of you leaning that way as well from the waist, the right arm will punch across your stomach to the left of you. Interchange these arms along with the direction in which you bend at the waist ...this move is repeated as long as you are able to do it and going as firmly and quickly as you can.. Set a timer to 7 minutes and prepare to perform these 3 exercises in succession as smoothly and as quickly/vigorously as possible. They will increase your heart rate dramatically if done correctly and a shower is definitely required when finished.
Check google for toning exercises...you'll find plenty. Ensure the ones you choose target the areas you want to work on.
After the 7 minutes is up, set the time again for 40 minutes then shower or whatever. During this time drink plenty of water. At 40 minutes you'll eat a specific meal, in small portions, including whole wheat or bran waffles (2) with lite syrup, pure not from concentrate juices (ie cranberry), natural yogurt mixed with blueberries, apples, raspberries etc. One or all doesn't matter.
Water, water, water....you'll be doing plenty of bathroom calls that you'll think the walking back and forth alone should do something. :) Try to avoid or reduce caffeine drinks as these are water retainers.
Check these links for suggested exercise and foods:

http://www.prevention.com/category/1,5775,s2-2-87-0-0-0,00.html This one gives you the option of 3 days to 3 weeks as the time period you need to be looking fab.
That should keep you out of mischief :)
Good luck and enjoy the cruise!
Whew! Just lost 3 lbs writing this, you'll have lost 4 reading it
