No such thing in God, why do people defend the notion, science controls our planet, nothing more and nothing less. If there was a God, why are there paedophiles, and dont give me that free will bullshit, some of the human bodies workings are amazing, eyesight, smell, etc, if he was there was a real God he would have taken the notion of paedophiles away from our brains. Abusing children is the worst thing on the planet, and the devastaion of such a terrible thing means there is no religious justification.

evil does exist, but its not the devil, theres just good and bad, surely no one is that retarted that they cant get the grasp of simple good and bad. We do not have to symbolise it with theories of super natural beings.

Whats worse than all of that not realizing that God exists is real and that no matter what you go through in life or how you shun God like a parent of all parents God will still carry you when you are down and rejoice when you are well.

Okay, let's say there truly is NO God (and I find it interesting that you used an upper-case "G"), and that science ALONE controls our planet. Why are there pedophiles? Why didn't science take that idea out of our brains? I work with abused and neglected children on a daily basis and I agree with you that it is the most heinous crime on this planet. However, you have placed science on the same level as the God that you claim does not exist. Therefore, science is no better than the non-existent God. Neither argument explains the existence of pedophiles. To use an argument like, "Pedophiles exist, therefore God cannot exist,"
is a bit shaky if carried out to its logical conclusion. Love would not exist; no form of good could exist. All because pedophiles exist. There is a dark nature in all human beings because of (ready, here comes a bad word) sin. It was not what God intended. It comes out of the darkness of human beings. Maybe that does not come anywhere close to answering your question. All I ask, is that you think your logic through. Can God only exist in a planet of Utopia? As long as there is evil in any form, God cannot exist? It seems you are begging the question. I wish you all the best.

The first religions formed were pagan - nature worshiping. In those days, they did not have answers to questions through science and explained the unknown through works of gods. In my own oppinion, these notions became tradition and an easy scapegoat out of difficult questions which carries over into modern society. Also, there has been some intense moments in the history of religion where people would be prosecuted for not believing what was the societal norm which could also result in traditions forming and solidifying enough to enter modern times. The power of the church is truly amazing.
This question is bound to bring up some controversy... Religion does that.

You should update yourself on what science is telling us. Do some research into quantum mechanics, superstring theory and holographic universe theories. You'll find that science is close to proving the existence of God, proving that you are created not only by God but of God, and proving that you are in fact a co-creator with God.
You have much to learn, but the answers are out there if you look for them.

You are a sad and empty person.
You should try a heart felt prayer. I do not know why someone would do a thing like that to you but yuo should not blame god.

You probably only know of ORGANIZED religion. Find something to believe in and maybe some counseling. I don't mean anything negative about my post it just seems as if maybe something similiar has affected you personally.

You cannot prove God does not exist, so why shouldn't some people believe?

because me & HIm talk all the time.
by the way, if there is no God, evil cannot exist because there is no basis for morality. Or do you think Satan is a myth too?
