maybe you shouldn't be teaching

At our college u dont have a test u just have an interview and have to have been working paid or unpaid in a school for 2 yrs ..
the course is quite different from when I did mine 10 yrs ago it starts in June and finishes in September .. there are lots of unemployed TA's due to there being lots of people doing the course so the only advice i would give is make sure theres a call for it in ur area .. good luck

It will be a diagnostic test of your literacy skills. They will probably expect a Level 1 or Level 2 and if you don't meet the minimum you'll have to do a key skills course to meet the standard. I suggest you brush up on your spelling/grammar/punctuation!!!

Possibly basic spelling and grammar checks, along with communication skills

I hope if you do get on the course, they help you with your grammar and spelling.
