Lots of math, sciences and critical thinking are essential. Study hard if you want to be a doctor some day. There are many other areas in the medical field to consider as well.

Thanks God not....much, well sometimes you have to make a calculation depending the specialty you will choose. During the career a lot more than later, in some countries is part of the entry exam....
What you will need for sure is a lot of patience, understanding, love for your work and compassion. This issues are almost never evaluated but once in practice they make a difference between a Good Doctor and a lousy one.

Geezzzz ... are you that dumb?
How is a doctor going to administer medicine to his patients without knowing math?
If you were a patient, would you want a doctor giving you a quart or a gallon of medicine?
Doctors don't see patients in the kitchen, honey.
Doctors need mathematics, science, biology, physics.
The only thing they don't seem to need is good handwriting.
(I actually think they take a course on 'How NOT to Write Legibly 101')

yes. math and science for all of you pre-meddies and wannabe engineers
I'm not sure how much hardcore math is used when you actually become a doctor, but the road to become one (i.e. pre-med and med school) requires a lot of math

Yes..........and so is algebra. I imagine that you're talking about a medical doctor. So yes, you will need math to figure out the correct doseage for medicines, and that is just one thing.

Yes, it certainly is. You want to know the correct dosage of any medicine you prescribe for a patient, and you need to be able to keep track of your expenses. Unfortunately, proper handwriting isn't.
