in some states like california, the economy relies so much on illegal immigrants that if you reported the company that hires them, it would almost destroy the economy. sad, i know.

The minutemen are busy on the border line actually stopping illegals from crossing the U.S. border. They are to be commended for their dedication and positive action in the struggle to keep our borders closed to illegals. The government is well aware of which corporations are hiring illegals, and they are letting them get away with a slap on the wrist. They can afford the fines easily and continue breaking the law....)(

It seems that in most cases of corporations hiring illegals, they do so because the illegals provide false identification. There is a highly lucrative market for fake Id's. It is another case of stolen identification. The people who hire illegals without identification are more in the agricultural and construction fields, basically any labor job that needs to be filled temporarily. The jobs are so unsteady that identification is not asked for and the illegals are paid under the table. As for corporations who might have hired illegals unwillingly, the government is in the process of distributing a computer program that makes identifying false identification easier. Big corporations are not the ones who hire for cheap labor, contractors, farmers, and suburban housewives are.

First, I would like to thank you for giving the Minutemen all the credit for fixing our broken system far beyond what their credit is - a civil organization to patrol the borders and report illegal entry to the authorities.
They are a symbol beyond that - and citizen voters, just like your organizers. Please don't tell me only you can organize. They remind Americans what the American Ideal is - and it sure isn't Aztlan or budgets going bust over illegals.
Why don't you just admit the pro-illegal crowd wants to work under the table like Bush on down to get what they want and organizations like the Minutemen are above table and being honest?
How can you compare a group of people defending law and justice against the pro-illegal groups defending lawlessness and injustice?
Does that make sense to you?

To report immigrant hirers, a Minuteman would have to first check the number of his/her local representative on-line or in the white pages; secondly, he/she would have to dial the number and thirdly the rep would tell him/her to place his/her complaint/report in writing.
All of the above would be impossible, given the fact that Minutemen are mostly illiterate white-trashy rednecks with "minute" brains, and all of the above involves some sort of reading/writing, which is asking too much from those "people"

they don't report on corporations because they are bullies and they ony want to pick on the small and the weak. Watch, as events unfold over the coming months and years, you will see that these people are themselves small, weak, ineffectual, incapable of getting anything done except maybe getting drunk and beating up their neighbours, and they have very small penises which girls make fun of them for. For most of these people dealing with corporations would mean they have to put on a shirt, which is way beyond their organizational capabilities.

All conservatives want to punish corporations for giving illegal immigrents jobs, but turn their backs when our government passes law after law helping and aiding corporations at the expense of people.

I haven't heard that they don't. I don't think businesses of any size are given any special treatment. They get caught they get in hot water. The arrests have more than doubled from 2004 to 2005. They are going after the employers who are knowingly hiring illegals. (knowingly being the operative word)

These corporations should be paying MY taxes since we seem to want to give a free pass to illegals in the USA. The IRS is a nasty organization and if people are making money ILLEGALLY, the IRS should bother them before me.

Because once they make it into the country it is harder to determine their status. Just looking at people you cannot tell if they are legal, here on a work visa or other type of legal document, or illegal.
