Hath I not taught thee to love thy neighbor as thyself? And yet ye in America are unwilling to bear the burden of Mexico's poverty and illegal immigrants even though you art the richest nation in the world. Why dost thou not follow my teachings? Rememberest thou the Good Samaritan? Will ye do nothing?

God helps those that help himself.

I also remember that you gave some people money and the one that put in in a bag and buried, incurred your wrath.

Jesus never spoke using thee and thou art's... You are referring to the King James version of His words which most intelligent Believers in His words and teachings never refer to. Here is some Aramaic for you. Go educate yourself on the content of the true text and find out for yourself what you mock for entertainment because you really have no idea what in the heck you're referring to or even talking about. Have fun. Now go child and useth your frigging brain cells for something worth speaking out loudeth.

And by the way... Since when does Government have anything at all to do with Religion? Church and state seperated and got the presidency in the divorce settlement remember?

To begin with, speak English. We're not at a Renaissance fair or in the Old Testament. If you're trying to imitate Jesus or God with you're speech, don't.

To answer your question, people do nothing because the fact of being the most powerful nation of the world makes them think they can. America is notorious for being hypocritical. We say we should love and help everyone and people are horrified by violence, oppression, and hatred in other countries, but when it comes to use, we look the other way.

I live in an area where illegal immigrants and immigration is a "problem". People call them stupid and ignorant and a general waste of space and money. I believe we should help them. They came here for a reason, and that was to find a better life and live in peace. People here just feel threatened by them and that causes prejudices to form and hate to arise.

We have the money and the resources to help, but Americans just seem to think that they're better than everyone.

Ok.
A. your either drunk.
B. why the heck are you talking like that.
C. If you knew what the Scripture teaches then you wouldn't say things like that.

Illegal immigration is- ILLEGAL. Scripture teaches to obey God first then Government. I'm not against helping Poverty stricken countries but that is not the way to help. There are proper channels to get into the country. If you know anything about the Common saying of the Good Samaritan than you would know the context is now where on earth close to what your trying to say.
What the Scripture says is not YOUR teachings but the Word of God.

I take great offense at what you say and claim.
You have no right to say these things or wear that name.
Even I would not bear that Name for as Sha'ul says we are not worthy of it.

You must either be drunk. or very young and don't understand what the Scripture says (if you read it) or don'n understand the way political structure works concerning these issues.

Scripture does not teach to bear any "burden" we are to cast our burdens on Jesus. This that you say is not in the context of helping poverty.

and when you try to quote to love our neighbors as ourselves you take it completely out of context.

Stop talking like that, don't wear that Name, learn about politics and economics and law.
And actually take time to study the Scripture and learn from someone who knows what's in it and teaches only what it says- IN CONTEXT.

And nowhere in Scripture does it say that "God helps those that help themselves" and the common saying of that time that you mention you take it out of context.

can't you people at least read what your trying to talk about let alone keep it in context and understand it?

I'm sorry to be rude but it's rediculous. You wouldn't talk about a sport or nuclear engineering if you didn't know anything about those things cause you'll sound stupid well why do it here?

nothing wrong with asking questions and learning though.
But I don't go around talking about things that I'm dead wrong on sounding stupid.

Who do you think is feeding, educating, housing, and giving medical aid to them, free of charge? America is not by any means doing the Will of God, no argument there. Not trying to remove the guilt that belongs on our shoulders, but who else is doing as much, and getting beat up for it? This nation will have to endure it's own judgment. Let us not forget the good that has, and is, being done, even if for selfish reasons.

Did You not say, "render unto Caesar what is his?" In short, respect the laws of the country?

Of course, we have been extraordinarily generous in the acceptance of our immigrant brothers and sisters. We set generous quotas for accepting people into this country, and have a host of social programs to make their existence here better. However, we do have a right to ensure that we are not overwhelmed by people who have not been invited into our own house. That's why we have immigration laws and immigration quotas. Therefore, you should really turn your attention to those who break our laws by being here.

The operative word in your question is "illegal," my friend.

The idea of welcoming neighbors is a beautiful one, of course -- but it's not morally acceptable for the neighbor to take advantage of that by "barging in" unexpectedly and uninvited.

My parents were immigrants -- political refugees, to be more precise -- who came to this country completely legally. So, anyone who comes here as a legal immigrant or as a bona fide political refugee is completely welcome in my book.

But when people show no respect for our laws in coming here, it's the same as the neighbor who doesn't respect the rules of your house while he is a guest in it.

Note to all!!!
Today it's just a game of words, tomorrow or the next day those eye's, that have been upon you since the beginning, will sorrowfully have to pass judgment upon us all. Why would any one want to break God's heart!!!!!

I've read your profile and you don't seem like a bad guy. Yes, I love my neighbor, I even love people who are from different religions. God bless.
