If so, how?

Mostly I think God speaks to your heart. It's not an audible sound that you can hear. It's just something that you feel that you accredit to God. Yes, I have had Him speak to me. Actually, I believe that He always speaks to all of us, we just rarely listen.

Yes. Knowing God is the real issue, however, isn't it? Who, what, or how is God, and if whom, what, or whatever, how can he, she, or it speak? God has spoken to me. If you're Jewish or Christian, you must believe David and/or Christ when it was said (and written) "ye are gods." Have you spoken? Then the person to whom you have spoken has, in some fashion, heard god speak (presumptively). As for me, every element and spark of energy that I am exploded from a point some 11-13 billion years ago and eventually became me. I can look back with you and see my origins. The universe, therefore, understands itself. What I am will go on for another 13 billion years and longer. In what form, I do not know. But if an intelligence such as myself exists, and sees my origins, couldn't another that is greater? Perhaps an intelligence started it all. Perhaps not. But it is undeniable that a bunch of elements (energy and otherwise) got together and created life right here. I'm a part of it, as are you. Maybe David and Christ had something ..... Perhaps we're gods, and we've just spoken one with another.

Yes, God has spoken to me. God ( the God of the Bible) speaks to us in two main ways. One is through the Word of God ( bible) and the in our hearts. Remember he is not going to tell u to sin, hurt anyone or do something that would embarrass you.

Yes, God speaks to me every day. He speaks to me when I see the sky and the trees and hear the birds and feel the wind. There are many ways in which God speaks to me. I hear Him when I listen to sacred music. I hear him when I hear hymns in church or watch a Billy Graham Crusade or a Franklin Graham Festival or I listen to one of those wonderful choirs that Cliff Barrows directs. He is the gentleman who directs the choir for the Billy Graham Crusades.
I cannot list all the ways that God speaks to me but there are many.

Belief = God is the Universe.

Therfore, to hear God, close your eyes, sit outdoors and meditate. Every sound in nature from birds and wind to cars driving by, kitchen radios and children laughing... it's all the sound of God.

God has spoken to me but I haven't listened hard enough. He is my hero and I love my Master.

Yes, once I was feeling really bad about myself and was crying and apologizing to God for always screwing up. Then I heard Him say "I forgive you." Some people might say it was all in my head but there was definitely a difference. It was one of the greatest feelings.

I've sometimes thought so, but I now wonder if it was a product of my unconscious. I've prayed many times before, and I've sometimes actually gotten messages. Don't get me wrong. I've never had auditory hallucinations, or anything, but I've sometimes had messages fleet through my brain, and some of them have been loud and clear and true. However, I've also had messages that weren't true, so in that case, it makes me doubt that they were of divine origin.
