There is no "right" one. I agree with the other posters that you should give a week or a couple of days to each religion. Find out what constitutes their beliefs and a little of their history before deciding.
I must point out that only recently has the word "religion" taken it's current meaning, prior to that, "religion" was something that you HAD to do but hated doing (i.e. He scrubbed the floor religiously.). Somehow it now is applied to any organized group of people that claim a similar belief set.
On a personal note, I abhor ORGANIZED religion. I really don't think spirituality can be effectively achieved within the narrow confines of the doctrines that have been authored and edited by humans. So in this vein, I strongly suggest that you check out Secular Humanism, or at least give some thought to the fact that you may be closer to god than the priest who will be leading you within an organized religion.

I am a firm believer that any and all "religion" is worthless. (no offense to any person meant). I have observed "religions" all my life, and I find that any religion is not fulfilling and pointless. Religion gets you nowhere! It doesn't get you to Heaven, Paradise, or any mythological place. I have observed though that a particular Person does provide any and all answers for your question. I met Him when I was four yrs. old; and I have had access to His Book since the time that I could read. I have needed to get several new ones over the years as they fall apart. This Person is Jesus Christ, and his Book is the KJV Bible. I suggest that you not worry about finding a "religion". It is really kind of silly to go in circles which is what a "religion" will do to you.
Here are some verses that might help you:
1 John 5:13; Ephesians 2:8,9; John 3:16,17; Romans 3:10,23; Romans 5:12; Revelations 21:8; Revelations 21: 14,15; Romans 6:23; Romans 10:9,13.
I hope adnd pray this will help you. :)

That's not a question that anyone can answer for you. You have to answer that one for yourself. What do you believe? Do you believe that Christ is the son of God? Or more simply do you believe in one God? Or the Goddess? Or in any God at all? There are so many religions out there, all have there good and bad points. Do some research, read up on them. I mean really take the information in. When you found the right one you will know it. Don't just join a religion because someone told you to, or because you think it will make someone else happy. Religion is there to make you feel more complete. Good luck with your journey.

You have joined a religion from birth, becoz what we parents say is right for us. But if u have asked this question, I will like to say that u can join any religion. BECAUSE every religion says the same theme about God and universe, you can know if you go through, deeply

There are many religions out there to join; however, to gain eternal life you have a choice to make between man's attempt to reach God, in the form of a religion, or you can accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour just by asking him to come into your life and forgive you of your sins. This doesn't mean that you are a bad person. It just means that you and I have been born into a sin nature.
Accepting Jesus Christ is not joining a religion....it is a way of life.
Becoming a Christian is personal. It involves establishing an individual relationship with God's only Son, Jesus. There have been long theological debates about sin and how it all began, but in short, regardless of the details, we were separated from God and Jesus came to give us a way to bridge that separation. Jesus' birth, life, and death, were part of God's plan. God revealed Himself to us through the person of Jesus Christ so that He, God, could take the place for our sins. He loves us regardless of what we have ever done and regardless of who we are or where we're from or where we've been or what we look like or anything. Although God's love is unconditional, the relationship is different for everyone. God meets people wherever they are and whenever they ask.
If you get a chance, open a bible to the chapter of John in the New Testament, chapter 3, verse 16 (John 3:16). Read that and meditate on what it means to you in your life. A real, live person gave up His life for you and me. The only thing we are asked to do to gain eternal life with God is to believe in His son, Jesus Christ.

Well, only you can make that particular choice.
My suggestion would be to read your bible, reread it.
If you are unsure of where to start, try Genesis first, then go to the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, then Acts.
Before you attempt Revelations, read Isaiah and Daniel, then Revelations.
Start visiting churches without concern as to the denomination on the sign, or lact of denomination. What you will be looking for is a church that will teach and preach directly from the bible.
Once you have found this, you will know where you want to be to best continue to grow in Gods love.
Good Luck

u dont need to join a religion, its just faith and belief in Almighty and his messengers who were sent for the betterment of the world. Study about Islam, then compare it with others and see which gives u the most satisfaction. Go thru Authentic sources only which have references etc else u'll be so confused coz each one out there is waiting to confuse u and ready to undo what good others have done.

Religion is such a complex subject and for hundreds of years mankind have been debating on whose right and whose wrong.
I encourage you to seek the lord God with all your heart and he will reveal himself to you. True spirituality is about a relationship with God not joining some religious group. For the record I am a believer of Jesus and if you choose to label me a christian that's your choice but I know who my God is and that did not come from religion but from a relationship.

Why would you want to join a 'religion'. Religion is man seeking after God. Man, in and of himself, cannot find God. God sent his Son, Jesus into this world, to seek and to save those which were lost. In other words, instead of man seeking God, God himself came to seek out men. You can be religious from now until the day you die, it will profit you nothing. Having a relationship with God, means confessing that you are a sinner, that you cannot save yourself, ask Jesus to come into your heart and be your Savior, and try to live for Him, everyday. That will be worth everything.
