The Man Law council is voting to replace the 'High Five' with another way to celebrate. I am voting for the Head Butt! What do you think?

It is being replaced becuase it is over used and the meaning of the high five has been diluted over time. I don't make the rules. Man Law!

As classic as the "high five" is, the trend since Mark McGwire (at least that was the first time I saw it on TV) is moving towards the "knuckles" or "knucks".. similar in their respective jubilent symbolism.. but I feel the "knucks" show a bit more respect and toughness..

The "high five" nowadays is pretty much reserved for mid to late 40's overzealous white men at football games that frequently miss the other guy's hand anyways.. the "knucks" are easier for them.. although a person could get injured from the retarded drunk guy who takes it too far and punches your knuckles like Mike Tyson.

Although there is nothing better than slapping hands with your buddy's at the sportsbar (when the Detroit Tigers kick the crap out of the White Sux or Red Sux) or playing softball and getting a good hit or out... I don't know if the "high five" will ever be fully replaced as long as white men watch sports.. (i'm a white man)

Oh, you can't replace it! How would we women know we were witnessing a male celebratory ritual without it? The head butt is ok, but where's the celebration? Combine the head butt with the inevitable [but predictable] butt sit, put some arms in the air and do some yelling, then we might get the picture. :)

In Romania they have a different thing (probably worn out by now) where they give low indexes... sorta like low five but with only one finger, the index finger...
since we don't have tails to do a side tail salute... low index finger would work, what do you think? Depending on occasion they use both the index and the middle to confirm a stronger friendship.
I remember that the boys would do that until their two fingers would hurt and still try to keep doing it, cuz they didn't want to be the first ones to call the quits... hahaha! What's with men and the macho attitudes?

It must be replaced with something as loud and as extravagant as the "high-five" was. I think that a pee-pee slap will surely get back the time honored traditions that men of this day and age so desperately need

Keep the high five. It's a classic! Head butt would really hurt and leave ab bump on your head.

The "Low Two"..this involves kicking each other square in the onions to celebrate

Although...the celebrating doesnt usually commence until you have gotten up off of the ground first..and its proper etiquette for your buddies to wait

Yea - head butt is cool. I'm thinking maybe roe-sham-boe also. High five is fairly gay at this point in our society. It's really only for rugby players who like tennis raquets stuck in their butt.

I personally do not like to touch hands with people that I do not know well. I think that is how so many colds and flu's are passed on.
I would think that we could just say "Hello" to everyone, and stop so many germs from traveling.
