Because your trying to find him. Don't look for him, let him come to you. It will just work out. You'll find him in the place you would least expect. And you are only 23, you have time.
My grandpa married his second wife when she was in her late forties, and it was her first time! But she spent the previous years traveling the world, doing different jobs, and getting new hobbies. She got the best of both worlds.

It means either one of two things:
1) You're choosing to waste time dating losers, or
2) You haven't figured out what makes someone "Mr. Right".
Of course, it helps to be "Ms. Right"....
Instead of thinking dates or romance or sex, why not look for a man who doesn't want you as a woman? If you know him only as a friend, there isn't the sexual tension. When you meet someone decent, *then* try dating him.

One thing would be that you are looking for this perfect guy. You probably already know the right guy for you, but you don't realize it yet. He could be right under you nose. Wait for him to find you. Plus you are still young and there is still time to have him come into your life. Date around and have fun while you still can or you may regret it if you don't.

Join a dating service! You'll get matched up with someone suitable for you and you'll get to go on a lot of dates. Use an "old fashioned" service or join one of the reputable online ones. Either way, don't think it doesn't work! I met my husband thru a service, and we will be celebrating 17 YEARS of MARRIAGE next month!!! Go for it!

I just don't believe in Mr. Right...I believe in Mr. Mostly OK. A rare thing indeed is the man and woman who agree on all sujects and get along all the time. Be happy to find a man who is honest, compassionate, and in love with you, whom you can love in return. Do not wait for the perfect man, dear one, he does not exist.

No. You're still young and it's okay to be dating around. Don't go around searching for it, you'll only be disappointed. Mr. Right for you will happen when you least expect it..and when it does, believe me, it will be a nice surprise.
Be patient and best wishes.

I feel your pain sister. I actually went onto a dating site (match.com) and I've found someone thats so far been too good to be true. I never thought that I'd be the one to be into online dating, but take it from me, its totally worth it. Good luck!
If you try it out I'd be courious to know how it worked out and what you're experience was like.
