yes, I met my wife over the internet. I was living in upstate NY and she was living in downstate Texas. We were more than 200 miles apart from each other. We dated for 2 years and we got married. Now, we have married for a little over 2 years.
Another of my friend who lived in the US had a 5 year long distance relationship with someone that lived in Singapore. Eventually, they got married and they have married for about 4 years now.

You haf to make it work,both of you haf to put your all into it.If you have trust and understanding I don't see why it wold'nt.But it's gonna take everything you both have to make it work not 50/50 but you both are going to haf to bring 100% to the table.Not seeing each other you can plan trips once a month rent a car or whenever you can.Set it up that you both have the same weekend off it's always a way.But yes to answer you're question I do believe in long distance relationship I was in one and noe we are engaged to married.So goodluck!

yes, I still believe in long distance relationships.
I have had one once, but it didn't turned out so well.
reason? I had to do everything. I had to call, send messages, write letters, come over to his house. he didn't do a thing.
I was blind to sea, and after 4 years my mum shoke me awake and showed me the facts.
but I do believe that when the efforts come from both sides, it might go well.
so I wish you the best!
ps: don't mind my englisch, it ain't perfect yet. I live in belguim by the way.

well, i was in one...i hated it, cause the dude was a jackass, and didnt wanna meet; he gave me a pic AFTER we stopped talking, cause he wasnt even that cute, lol.........
