Winkflash.com is super great! Each 4x6 is only $.12 a piece and 8x10s are the cheepest i've found. Shipping is the best part b/c it is only $.99 flat rate! (Unless you order cards or frames or something other than prints, then it's extra) They also have a feature that lets you make full rez downloads, and can share albums with anyone with an e-mail account.
The quality is better than any drugstore I've been to (Walgreens, CVS, Wal-mart...) and they ship next business day, so it doesn't take very long to get your prints back.
Hope this helps!

If you are going to "weed them out" why would you want to print them??? I would use the Windows "View As A Slideshow" option in "My Pictures", and then delete the ones I am sure I don't want. I would save printing for the ones I or others think are worth printing up. If you go to www.walmart.com you can get 8x10 digital prints (assuming you have the megapixels to do so!) for less than $2 a print and have them mailed directly to your house. I have tried this service and get "very good" results from my digital camera. In fact, they are as good or better as some of the "proofs" I get from professional photo labs who offer digital printing services! So, save your money and edit electronically, saving the printing for the pieces you really, really like!

i go to www.snapfish.com. it is a site affiliated w/ HP, and you can create an account, then upload your pictures from your computer, onto the site, so people can see them. You can also purchase your pictures there. It lets you choose wether you want 2 or all of them. I just got over 100 pictures developed there and it only cost me $20.00 which included shipping!!! That was good, compared to other drug stores and stuff. You should check it out. Oh! You can also order gifts w/ photos on them like mouse pads, calenders, coffee mugs, etc.

Dont, go digital and print them at home. If you HAVE to develop film, either get your own dark room, or join a camera club at a photography store.

Put a darkroom in your house. More expensive up front, but cheaper in the long run.
