I am in a relationship of over 2 years. very happy, but i find myself wondering about other people. Not that i would cheat, but if i see someone very attractive i wonder what my life would be like with them, not marriage or anything, just what it would be like to date them, you know? I would never leave my girlfriend, but i wanted to know if it was normal to think these things. Is it a sign of something or am i just reading too much into it and it's perfectly normal to have these thoughts. The thoughts are never sexual, more purely out of curiousity and what it would be liek to date someone that is different than my g/f. Thanks for the input

You're correct and don't worry. I am in a relationship for almost four years and I think about the same thing because there's so many people out there, yet I'm with only one person who loves me a lot. I check other people out, but that is it. Eyes are made for looking.

Would be normal if she is your first real relationship...if you have had a few in the past then I think it is a sign that you are interested in dating other people and not being with her long term...curiosity can lead to cheating or you could get so curious that eventually you do want to see what it's like to see other people. If that is the case I wouldn't get too serious with your current gf until you get a feel for other people...good luck!

I think about cheating all the time, I guess it's normal.

I don't think its too uncommon.

"I wonder what it would be like to be with them... They are fun, interesting, and attractive."

I don't think its a problem unless you start to think about to much, and start to entertain the idea... if it gets to that point... You need to have a talk with your current partner.

Yeah, I think it's normal and probably most everyone does that. They may not admit it.
