No. There're a lot of woman, that even though they're pregnant for 9 months, they don't have THAT instict.
Nobody's born to be a parent.
You just have to learn how to become one. Hopefully a good one.

not necessarily as you can tell from society not all women have motherly instincts, some need to even be taught how to change diapers or to feed their children. i think it depends how the parents and how they were raised and what kind of person they are. carrying a child does not mean you will be a good parent no more than carrying a text book for 9 months will make you a good student.

We moms tend to be better nurturers, but dad's teach children to trust, for example...when a child is thrown into the air and caught by Daddy they never worry if Dad will catch them, he always does.
Both parents bring different benefits to their children. But the most important things that either Parent can give their child is Love and attention.

Women should be, but are not always. I believe that what's kept the world from falling apart all these years is the love & care of a good mother. Mothers who put thier children before themselves. We need more of that today. I know some fathers who pick up the slack when mom falls short. We need more of that today as well.

NO, not necessarliy. Some men have more patience than some women. My man is an excellent father and goes way beyond his call of duty. He has more patience than I do and comes up with great idea to do with the kids. Whether is fun or disclipline. We both love our kids but he is amazing.

I think that women and men bring different things to parenting, which is why it is so very important for children to have both their parents raising them.

I think women and men have different strenghts
Women tend to be more nurturing and comforting, more cautious and "tender" -- kids need that, they need to know someone is there to love them and take care of them
Men tend to be more laid back and "free" which teaches kids problem solving skills and independence - when someone doesn't step in right away, the kid starts to figure out what to do
I think you need both aspects - that doesn't mean one person can't be both of these, just that men and women tend to fall into these roles

Not just because they're women. The character of the person still matters what kind of parent that they will be.

depends on the person.. but not every girl was that motherly instinct. and there are good fathers too. everybody was their own way of parenting. the father and the mother teach different things to the kids so both of them are important i think that's it a tie for me.
