I am an African American and I have naturally wavy hair. I have been getting perms to straighten it out since I was young and my scalp hurts after a while with out it. I was wondering if there was a product I could use to make it curly. I pin curl it at night and it is ok.

it'll be hard to do but there are some shampoos you can use to help it get at least wavy and give it volume.when you get out of the shower use the mouse, gel and hairspray which that will make curls all day untill you wash your hair then just repeat the process. it woks i do it all the time b/c my hair is straight and plain. hope i could help!

There really is no product to make it curly, but after washing it let it air dry with a little leave-in conditioner, in the morning run some curling pomade through it, like a Bed Head product. There are thousands out there, but I hear Bed Head is supposed to be really good!
