It might not be right, but I won't date a guy who's not either tattooed. It's sort of strange I guess, but it's something that turns me on.
On a deeper level I think it says something about a guy's ability to commit. Tattoos are sort of like a marriages... They're expensive, a little painful (and weddings are painful for the most part.. stressful at least), and supposed to be permanent. Removing them, is about like divorce... Very Painful and Very Expensive. Being able to commit to anything, with that sort of before hand knowledge is something that most women will agree is sexy.
Tattoos are also a way for a person to bare a part of their soul to the masses. It's a way to put something that's important to them on a personal level out there for everyone to see. And that kind of honesty is sexy.
On the other hand, sexist and racist and gang affiliated tattoos, while still conveying something about the person isn't sexy to me. It's a big turn off. And I think people who are mostly covered in unassociated tattoos end up looking stupid. I don't have a problem with a whole sleeve or a mural on someones back or chest but when there isn't a theme, I'm more repelled by it.

Depends on the what the tatoo is and where it's located. Small butterfly on the inside of the thigh = SEXY. Moira warrior from New Zealand = Not sexy.

I'd say it depends where they are and what they are. I have two daughters with tattoos that I think look very flattering on them. I considered getting one myself, but I'm getting a little old for such things. I do think that Paul, Sr. of OCC looks VERY sexy with his tattoos!

I am not into tattoos. Some tattoos are artisticaly cool, but I am not sure if I would call it sexy. To each it's own.

the where and what are a big thing but if you aren't the tat type it would look weird to have one i like tats on my guy but I'm not the type of person to look good with a tat unless it was on my lover back and it would have to be a celtic design or something similar for I'm a big woman and some tats are just gross on an overweight person

I think they can be if you don't overdo them. I have 2 and would like to get a couple more, but i have them in places that not everybody can see.

I think so depending on what you have and where...I think 1 or two are...but if you have one in many places I don't think so.
