Speaking from a woman that is 5'8"....my Dr. told me that I should not get under 145. It can become unhealthy....and when you loose too much weight your body starts to break down your muscles instead of the fat. If you are worried about it I would suggest that you talk to your Dr. before you start any diet program to make sure that you are not putting yourself at risk. Another thing that determins how much you should weigh is your body structure. Some women really do have bigger bones than others.....and your heritage has a lot to do with your body weight and structure too. I hope that this has helped. Good Luck

That depends upon body structure. The old rule of thumb from a doctor I had was -
100 pounds for the first 5 feet then 5 pounds for every inch after that.
This was for the MINIMUM a woman should weigh. so, at 5-8, it would be a minimum of 140.
If your bone structure is a smaller frame, then less, a larger frame, more.

Hard to say. Healthy wise, probably around 130. But depends on your body mass.

I'd say 130 is a little low. Go calculate your BMI for yourself. Go here. It is a womens BMI calculator. YOU might find it helpful.
