I've bought a Thermalsilk Volume Enhancing Shampoo, and on its label, there is the expression "heat activated". What does it means?

It means you have to use heat to get it to work. I would think a blow dryer or warm water, depending on the item. Good luck!!

I means that when you apply heat it works. Thermasilk is known for providing protection to your hair while you are using heat. Curling Iron, Flat Iron, Blow Dryer.
If you see heat activated on Hair Color, that means you need heat for the color to work correctly. So you would want to apply heat while the color is on your hair.
This does not apply to your shampoo.

It's supposed to mean that when you turn your blow-dryer on your hair, the heat makes the chemicals in the shampoo protect your hair from damage. In reality, it just kinda makes your hair smell good and kinda soft like every other shampoo. Stupid marketing ploy.

either your body heat or the temp of the air triggers a reaction....it foams or strengthens or puffs up your hair.

i think it means once you start shampooing your hair....the water triggers the shampoo to get hot ...i think
