I am feeding them formula and I wake up every two hours at night to do so. I do rub their butts, they have only pooped twice in the last three days though. And their mom is crazy she doesnt want them. She is farrel in another cage going to get fixed.

They should poop at least once daily, Large stomach are not a problem unless they are hard. Add two drops of mineral oil to their daily bottle (don't use anything else - it could dehydrate them.

*Slightly* bloated is okay for a short time. They should be pooping at least a few times a day. If these kittens are bottle fed, I assume their mother is not caring for them. In that case, you will often need to stimulate them until they are old enough to go on their own.

To do this, take a damp cloth (to simulate the mother's tongue) and stroke it *gently* down their stomachs; always move it downwards. Also, stroke their anus lightly with the cloth (I am not being disgusting - this is something a vet suggested to me - the mothers do it).

If there is *any* doubt in your mind that they may be constipated, the best thing is to get them to a vet. Such small kittens could die very quickly, and remaining constipated too long could give them lingering health problems.

Good luck with your kittens!

no one knows, cause mommy cat eats it. as she did the after birth.
if the bellies are bloated after feeding, thats normal and good for them.
if they're bloated all the time, it could mean malnutriion.

why are you bottle feeding rather than letting mommy cat do it? if you are bottle feeding you need to make sure its with a formula with all the nutrients in it, not cows milk.
you should have a vet guiding you on this, or you could starve your kittens to death without knowing it. they'll need to be fed every couple of hours, even through the night....so you'll be missing sleep for 4 weeks or so.
this is a BIG responsibility....please don't kill those kittens! get professional advice and make sure to follow it!

If you are bottle feeding the kittens you will need to stimulate them to go to the bathroom after every feeding just like their mom's do. use a soft warm wet cloth and rub their rectums after feeding. Most kittens will have intestinal parasites so that my be why their bellies are bloated or because you are not stimulating them after feeding. Once they become 6 weeks get them to your vet and get them checked out

just as everyone has said - rub their butts till they go. I hand raised my kitty - I bottle fed him on goat milk every 4 hrs and pooped him everytime after - (I just held him over the toilet) also note the color of his poop - I had been raising a kitty a few weeks prior and he had yellowish poop and he ended up dieing shortly after I took him in and I later learned he probably had some kind of infection. So just keep and eye out.

U need to take a wet cloth and clean their privates. This is what the mother cat would do, this also tells the kitten its time to go to the bathroom. If U don't do this the kittens will die. Contact your vet, have kittens and the mother cat checked, ASAP.

lefty is right. we had a kitten that was very young and wer had to do that. the poop is very hard, but dont be scared. another tip: make sure the kitten sleeps. we had one that wanted to play all the time, and didnt like to sleep. it got so tired we thought she was sick. but that night she slept and was running around again.
