I think that it is chat... it tastes like poo, smells like poo, and looks like poo, so it must be poo.

it doesn't count if you are australian and have american kids because they would eat the stuff growing up, and they would grow up on it. I also don't get it when aussies think that peanut butter and jelly is gross and then they start eating vegemite. nutella now, that is a different story.

I am Australian and love vegemite. My two American sons love it as well. It's a matter of growing up on the stuff I believe.

My American wife ate it while she was pregnant with our first, but hated it again afterwards.

Explain my wife. She aquired a taste for it during an extended spell.

As for PB and J, well you have to realize it's not so common downunder. I never had it growing up, so it seems weird to me. But I'm not going to have a go at you because you do. My vegemite eating kids love PB and J.

The main difference is we are used to spreading condiments rather thinly, compared to the typical American.

In my opinion, VB is the best of Australian Domestic Beers. Better than Bud, Coors, Corona, etc..

I think it's an Aussie thing. I personally can't eat it.

(I've heard people make the same comparison to American beer. It taste like p***, looks like p***, so it must be p***....)
