No, it's just the latest fad. Colonic irrigation is the politically correct way for just saying enema. These days they're putting everything in them. You have to be careful about that. There are no long term studies that can confirm the safety of "coffee enemas" and the such. Best of luck to you........

I've heard it can be dangerous if your therapist doesn't know what they're doing. After all, it's a very delicate area, one not designed to have things shoved in it, and the human race has survived just fine for centuries without sluicing out their colons!

i know ppl who have had it done the actual experiance is supposed to be a little weird to say the least but the benefits are fantastic u feel lighter more healthy and everything from your skin to nails improves as u are riddin ur toxins if i ever get the chance id love to have it done for the benefits!
