My son is just now 13 months old and has all four top and bottom front teeth. Both bottom pre-molars and top two pre-molars and sometimes he acts like his mouth is bothering im again, (drools alot, fusses, bites, chews on his fingers) isn't it too early for him to be getting any more? And if he is would it be his i- teeth? those ones next to the front four?

it could very well be his next few teeth coming in. My son at almost 14 months old at Christmas got 2 sets of molars, or pre molars, I forget which ones they are now, then he recently got the top eye teeth coming in and a week or so later the bottom ones started coming in. At 20 months now he only has 4 more teeth to come in and then he will have all of his baby teeth.

Each child is different....my daughter is 19 months and she has her 2 yr molars already..but doesnt have the rest of her side teeth.she has 4 on top and 3 on bottom. So ask your mom when yours came in and that pretty much can determine if he will be a late bloomer.
In the meanwhile give him a cold terry cloth washcloth with 1 ice cube and let him chew on that.those are the best teething rings you can have.

There is no set time for kids to get them, you can teeth for months and still no teeth come in. I have 6 kids not one of them got there's at the same time. Just keep pain meds and orajel around with maybe alot of Popsicle's. O hes 13 months and has some teeth they have tooth paste for kids get him started now make it fun, play some music you both brush in the mirror and dance.

Wow- I thought my 15 month old had a lot of teeth... Good luck (do you ever feel like you should own stock in Orajel!)

He may be getting his next molars! But all kids get them differently.
