My boyfriend said he would check on her and play with her and feed her and clean her litterbox, but I'm worried her food schedule will be disrupted or she will think I left her indefinitely. Thanks for your help!

Thanks so much for all your answers! I feel much better about having to leave her now.

Personally I think 10 weeks is too young to leave over night. Not only that it is also mean. Being kitten she may still be fearful of a lot of things and by leaving her for that long can permanently damage her relationship with you. (meaning she may never trust you) Can happen or maybe not. A chance you have to decide if you are willing to take.

She should be fine if your boyfriend knows what he's supposed to do...meaning, you need to make sure you tell him her feeding times, the food she takes and the amount, make sure her water dish doesn't dry up at all, clear her litter box at least once a day, and not to let her out at all....plus any other concerns you may have.
If you feel that he's not responsible enough to take care of your kitten, she'll be much better off in a pet hotel, where there are professionals to take care of her while you're away.
She might have some separation anxiety. That's only normal, since she must've come to love you, so try not to worry so much.

She should be fine. Make sure your toilet cover is down- kittens could fall in and not be able to get out.

If you have blinds in the windows, check to make sure that the pull string is not something she could be choked by if she discovered it and tried to play with it. Same for any elecrical cords, make sure that they don't hang and could pull something over if she played with it.

Kittens are curious by nature, just like children. However, I think your kitten will be fine for such a short period of time.

hmm. i had a cat and i was always scared to leave him alone. they need to be around someone if he's domesticated like that. i had to reorganize my travel times or have the local animal hospital take him in for the weekend. some hospitals would keep them for a boarding fee. however, i guess since your boyfriend says he will take care of her while you're away, then the kitten should be fine and it is only for 1 night.

if someone is feeding her and changing her litterbox, she should be fine. You might want to get another kitten to play with her, though.

Hope this helps!! :-)

AS long as she has food and water she will be fine leave some toys for her to play with too, keep her from getting bored

i have done just this before and my cats have been fine, unlike dogs cats don't really need a set time to feed (especially my cats who will eat whenever food is put down)
and it would be agreat way for your bf to get to know your animal better and for you to get to know your BF better beacuse you can always tell how a person truely is by the way they treat pets!

No need to worry she will be fine...plus she will look huge when you come back, don't know why but cats always do.
